PI Asset Framework (PI AF) is an application that provides a hierarchical data model of plant assets. The AF hierarchy integrates well with other PI applications such as PI Vision and PI DataLink allowing users to build displays, reports and calculations based on asset hierarchy.
This course covers all basic aspects of PI AF. Users are introduced to PI System Explorer and will understand the terminology and key features of PI AF.
This course is ideal for users who are new to PI AF.

Use PI System Explorer
Perform a PI tag search
Build AF Hierarchies
Understand when to use the different AF attribute types
Create AF templates
Build simple calculations using PI AF functions
